Kate Middleton Inspired Style

At the request of my bestie/blog partner, I am tackling Kate Middleton’s style today. I truly believe that this Princess/someday Queen is a style star in the making. She has a classic look that will most definitely stand the test of time.

One of my favorite aspects of her style is her heavy use of riding boots. As the mama to a bouncin’ off the walls toddler, riding boots are a vital piece in my wardrobe. Another staple of Kate’s wardrobe seems to be the blazer. Paired together, a fitted blazer and riding boots evoke a chic , yet approachable look. Chic, yet seemingly approachable describes Kate to a tee…don’t you think?

Here’s a little set I put together that was inspired by Ms. Middleton. What do you think? Will you be taking fashion cues from William’s lady love?

Very nice. One day, about a year ago, I got on this weird google binge where I was just searching for pics of Kate Middleton to look at her style. It is so effortless and she always looks stunning. I love your pairings above.

I have been wearing exactly one pair of shoes every day for the past two months, so sadly, nothing “influences” my “style”.

She sort of makes you want to take up riding horses – especially through the English Countryside, yes?

Oh, nice job! I love the blazer. Kate always looks elegant, but she isn’t afraid to wear bold colors, and her long hair is glamorous. She’s going to make a stylish princess.

Oooh I’m sure this is one of the first Kate Middleton style posts in the fashion blogosphere before she becomes a staple. 🙂 I love her style. It’s so classic and classy. She is such a lovely girl and seems very mature, which I find refreshing.

I remember five years or so ago seeing photos of her in a magazine and I was absolutely stunned by her style. Her coats and dresses were fabulous. I was pleased to see Will chose a girl with such elegant style. I have a soft spot for the prince (I thought I was going to marry him when I was 14) so if he had chosen a trampy Paris Hilton type, I would have been crushed. Lol.

    Great post! Happy Thanksgiving! xo
