Mirror, Mirror on the Wall

A few months ago our work-in-progress living room received a nice soft green paint job (check out the before and after here) and ever since I’ve been struggling with what to do with the space directly above the couch.  With a large art piece on another wall, I was afraid more artwork would compete with each other and take away from the peaceful vibe of the room.  I ended up settling on these square mirrors from Crate & Barrel that have a distressed finish and love the look.  A neighbor had them and I decided imitation is fine form of flattery, hee hee.  I think they open up the space and fit perfectly, although my quick iPhone pic might not be showing them in their best light (sorry ’bout that!).

Here are some other great mirrors that I’d love to use to pretty up other space throughout the house.

I love this white coral like mirror. Although at $600 it would definitely be a splurge.

Simple and sleek, this West Elm mirror made from mango wood would go great in so many spaces.

Can you tell I like the natural aquatic elements? This reef mirror from Urban Home makes me smile.

At only $58, this constellation mirror from Chiasso is a steal!

Which mirror is your fav?  Anyone else out there use a mirror for a space they just didn’t know what to do with?
