Do you feel it too? I think that fall feeling is invoked with just the word September. I love this time of year and I especially love decorating the house for both Fall and Halloween! Each year as my ideas and decor collection grows a bit more, it seems to get a little more festive around here. I’ve already started collecting ideas (thank you Pinterest) for how I can take it to the next level. Here’s a quick peek at some of my fall tablescapes of years past.
Last year’s Halloween table was especially fun. I still love that easy ghost pitcher and the candy corn filled shot glasses. The pitcher was so easy to do and such a hit with everyone who came over in October.
A more traditional Fall tablescape. This is a classic take on the season and an easy tablescape to pull together to have friends over and serve up some delicious fall staples. Creamy soups and pork tenderloin with roasted vegetables are some of my fall favorites and would look delicious on this fall themed table.
And of course in 2010 I decided George needed to come for dinner. (Sorry I knew nothing about white balance for my camera back then!) This is still one of my favorite fall tablescapes and I think adding cute pinecone place cards really goes a long way.
Our current house only has a casual dining spot but I’d still love to dress it up for the season. Also, one of my most tried and true entertaining tips is to make sure to set your table the night before. This will make the day of food prep and getting ready so much easier. And you guarantee that your guests don’t arrive and walk in without first getting that wow factor.
Inspire me lovelies! So, do you go all out for Fall decor? Any cool fall projects you plan on doing this year?
