As you probably guessed from the title of the post, I have another easy Halloween DIY project to share. On Tuesday, it was the candy jar and for Wednesday it was the paper treat bags. I’m on a roll! Haha! Now if the other projects were a bit too involved for you, well, today it’s as easy as it gets. I’m talking about a super simple stenciled tray that serves as a custom candy tray and is sure to add a little extra Halloween spunk to your space!
So, let’s get down to the nitty gritty. How did I make this darling try you ask? I’m happy to share all my secrets! Ok, using a stencil isn’t exactly rocket science, but hey, you might not have thought about creating a custom tray for Halloween with one right? Haha!
First, I found this little bejeweled tray at a craft store for less than $5. That’s a darn cute little bargain if you ask me!
Next, using the Jack-o’-lantern stencil from the stencils I used to make the Halloween paper treat bags, I taped it securely and painted two coats on the tray with a bright orange craft paint.
Once the paint was dry, I removed the taped down stencil and voila!, a sweet and kinda glam candy try was ready and waiting.
I think my new custom candy tray looks great in my living room and it was so fast and easy to create!
So, this custom candy tray wraps up my Halloween projects for the week. Anyone else getting into the spirit too? With just a week left to go, it’s time to start celebrating!
