Last night TNT’s new unscripted show Private Lives of Nashville Wives premiered. I’m already addicted. One, because I love all things southern and two, because the women on thNais show are hysterical. I almost forgot about three…I’ve ALWAYS wanted to visit Nashville. You probably don’t know this, but I’m a country music lover to the core and like every good country music fan, Nashville calls my name! Oh and I kinda dig Nashville style. Just sayin’.
As far as the cast members go…They’re wives of successful area musicians and businessmen, they’re ingrained in the Nashville social scene and as with most social scenes, there is bound to be conflict. Now the first episode was pretty tame, but as with most reality shows, I’m sure the drama is coming. I don’t mind a bit of drama, but shows that are all bark and no charm, do not appeal to me…But I don’t think we have to worry about that with the Nashville Wives. These ladies are plenty charming!
Erika Page White, wife of country music singer, Bryan White is a girl after my own heart. She left a successful acting career and has stayed home with her kiddos the past decade. As much as she loves taking care of her family, she struggles with wanting something for herself. I’ve been there and that’s why you are reading this blog today!
I also really love Sarah Davidson so far. Her husband is well known songwriter, Dallas Davidson, and you can tell as proud as she is of him, she wants that level of success for her own music career. Plus, I’m diggin’ her style. At a performance she rocked some killer fringe sandals! I’m a sucker for fringe.
Nashville style may not be for everyone, but considering that fringe is a big spring 2014 trend, you might want to consider working a bit of it into your spring wardrobe. Fringe sandals can easily be paired with pieces you already have in your closet. A bright colored tee and white skinnies are spring staples pour moi and they would look fabulous with these Ash fringe sandals no?
So, will you be tuning into Private Lives of Nashville Wives lovelies? And what’s the verdict on fringe…Yea or nay?
