My blog post was written as part of my collaboration with eBay.
If you’ve read our blog for a while, it probably comes as no surprise to you that I was over the moon happy when I found out that a baby girl would be joining our family. Just like when I just knew I was having a boy when I was pregnant with the dude, I had a very strong feeling that the lil’ lady bean was a girl before I actually found out what we were having. I may have even picked up a girly little outfit or two before her gender was confirmed. Haha!
I’m a girly girl at heart. There is no denying that. I love pink…I love sparkle…And I REALLY love tutus. So, when it was official that our baby was girl and I could really throw caution to the wind and start shopping for my lil’ lady bean, I was elated.
You may remember that her nursery is lavender and grey. As much as I love pink, I wanted to go a slightly less traditional route with her nursery and I just love how it turned out. But that doesn’t mean I walked away from pink completely. Come pay us a visit and you’ll find that the lil’ lady bean’s wardrobe, gear and toys are quite liberally peppered with pink. What can I say? This girly girl had an even girlier girl. Who knew that was possible?
My baby girl may be less baby and more toddler now, but I still love pouring over baby girl goodies, so I created an eBay collection dedicated to baby girls. It’s dominated by pink obviously. I was thrilled to create it in honor of eBay’s #ImBornTo collaboration with March of Dimes. For every #ImBornTo collection that is created, eBay will donate $1 (and up to $25,000) to March of Dimes!
And although, supporting March of Dimes and their mission to help moms have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies is motivation alone, eBay has another fabulous incentive for you! Create your own collection and you could win a $5,000 eBay shopping spree! Head on over and create one ASAP as the deadline is March 31st!
If you like this collection, check out my #ImBornTo Accessorize collection! It’s chock full of spring ready bags and baubles! If you create your own collection, I would love to see it! Leave the the link our comment section and I’ll be sure to share it!
