Lucketts Spring Market

Lucketts Spring Market

If you follow us on Instagram, you might already know that two weekends ago I was lucky to get the day off Mom duty to head down to the Lucketts Spring Market with two of my favorite girls, Angie and Cait. Lucketts is a fabulous store in Leesburg, Virginia that is stuffed full of great home finds. They have everything you can imagine from vintage artwork to newly upholstered chairs, and each item is full of character and totally drool worthy. One weekend each May they host the Lucketts Spring Market and people come from miles around (including me!) to shop the vendors in a flea market style. And on a gorgeous late Spring day what could be better?!

Lucketts Spring Market

This was my first purchase of the day. I knew this little picnic table would be perfect for Jake outside and that all it needed was a good wipe down and some water sealant. I am also a terrible negotiator for myself so Angie stepped in and I scored it for a song!

Here’s Cait modeling some other great finds including a mod reupholstered chair. We passed on the deal but it sure was cute!

I scored these wooden LOVE blocks for our guest room.

Needing to take a break and refuel, we couldn’t help but laugh at this sign. Anyone notice how they spelled Quesadilla? How does that even happen!?!

This truck certainly has a bed, but its not the kind you’re used to.  Or are you….. Ha

It was a great outing and I left not only thrilled with my purchases, which also included a metal wall sign, but also inspired to rethink decor in my own house. What can be reused differently or just needs a new coat of paint? I’m ready to dig in and get decorating and can’t wait to hit up the Lucketts Spring Market again in 2015!

I love flea markets! In the place where I live they always hold it every weekend although it´s not as grand as this one you´re having. Lol at the ¨casadia¨ for quesadilla. 🙂

Well looks like a fun place, would love for there to be more places like that in the UK!
