Thank goodness fall has arrived in Annapolis! I’m att 32 weeks pregnant, and in, what I consider, the final countdown before this little man makes his appearance. Now that I’m in the third trimester, I’ve lost some of my, “glow” and now have that whole, “yes there is in fact a bowling ball under my shirt and boy is it heavy” feeling. Don’t get me wrong, I adore feeling the kicks and movement of this little man, but I’ve noticed myself slowing down these past two weeks. So, it’s great that cooler temperatures and flowy looks have arrived!
My fall go-to look has been maternity skinny pants or leggings (sadly my real ones are no longer an option), a basic tank or tee, and the final layer of a non-maternity cardigan or sweater that is ideal for a long winter, pregnant or not. After seeing Kristin rock a great oversized scarf this weekend I’m adding that to my list. They are great for layering and I can take it off when I get too hot! I’m also a huge fan of flat boots and I’m crushing on these by Sam Edelman. I love how they fold over just in case I need a little more breathing room in the final weeks.
So, that’s how I’m stretching my closet to make these final weeks as fall fashionable as possible. Any other suggestions for this VERY pregnant mama?
