Sometimes you just want a little something sweet…Am I right? You don’t necessarily want to down a pint of ice cream, but your sweet tooth is telling you that you want a treat. Enter this easy apple dip…I’m all about moderation. That means not going overboard with things that aren’t good for you, but not depriving yourself all the time either.
So, I give myself permission to enjoy treats like the apple dip that my sister inevitably always brings to every family get together. A friend gave her the recipe years ago and she’s been making it for us ever since. This is my first time trying my hand at this delectable fruit dip and I couldn’t believe how easy it was to make.
Just pick up a few simple ingredients and you’ll have a deliciously sweet and nutty treat!
1 tub of cream cheese
3/4 cup of brown sugar
vanilla extract (optional)
apple wedges for dipping
1. Simply whip the cream cheese and brown sugar together and top the mixture with your peanuts. I whipped my batch by hand, but you could certainly go the electronic route. And if you want a touch more sweetness, add 1/2 tsp or so of vanilla extract.
2. Serve with apple wedges and dip away!
