The weather seems to finally be warm and lovely here in Maryland! I’m packing up my sweaters and boots and getting ready for spring and summer weather. Old man Winter better just stay away, this girl has had enough. I decided my wardrobe needed some fresh looks since this time last year I was pregnant. That means its been a few years since I’ve had new spring clothes. I recently picked up this striped cotton dress from Old Navy for a bargain of only $20! What a deal! I love thin stripes and since Kristin, my style guru, loves them too I knew this dress was right on point. I also really like that the blue stripes are a bright blue making it feel nice and cheerful for spring.
I paired the look with this Stella and Dot clutch that I received as a gift from one of my favorite Stella and Dot stylist friends. The pattern is a slight Aztec pattern and you know this Florida girl loves the color scheme of orange and blue (Go Gators!). The peep toe wedges, I picked up from Talbots a few seasons ago and have gotten a good deal of wear out of. I love when a shoe like that has such versatility and leather peep toe wedges are great for so many looks! The bracelet was a birthday gift from a good friend and I think my sparkly belt bracelet gives off just a little whimsy.
I have a few other looks coming for spring so stay tuned, and, of course, that also means it’s time for some spring cleaning out of my closet! I’m really loving my new light striped cotton dress for spring. What do you think? Was it worth the $20? How would you wear it? Maybe with a cute blazer for work?
