How to Sell A Diamond

Diamond Lighthouse

Diamond Lighthouse

Have you ever thought about selling a diamond? It’s probably not something that comes up very often. Maybe it’s a diamond that you inherited or a piece of jewelry that just isn’t your style anymore. But when you do decide to sell your diamond jewelry, it can feel like a murky process. It’s one area where I feel like I would truly not know if I got a fair value or not. Imagine how all those poor guys feel when they want to propose. It must be so overwhelming! Luckily, Diamond Lighthouse is here to change that and tell us how to sell a diamond without that feeling of general uncertainty.

DiamondLighthouse.com is a website that gives the diamond market an objective and trustworthy intermediary. It works as the go between for people selling their diamond jewelry and all of the professional diamond dealers and jewelers. They then take a flat commission fee of the selling price to ensure that they stay true to their goal…To get you the most money possible for your diamond. Also, the cool thing about them is they never buy diamonds. They just help you sell them, giving you access to diamond buyers you would never otherwise be in front of.

Here’s how it works:
First register online or call
Next order your free shipping package/make appointment
They then insure your jewelry
Once received, gemologists will unwrap your package and complete an evaluation on video
Diamond Lighthouse then reaches out to a network of buyers
Offers come in to buy your jewelry
Once you’re ready, you agree to a sale
After you agree, Diamond Lighthouse sends you your money

If you just want to know more about diamonds in general, you can check out their diamond university section online! It’s got a great breakdown of all the diamond qualities, some of which I never knew of.

That’s pretty uncomplicated and transparent which I love. So don’t get caught selling to some random guy a friend knows. After all, a diamond often has meaning behind it and you want to end the sale with feeling like that meaning was honored.

I’ve never had to sell a diamond before, so I didn’t know how one went about it. Thanks for the info. I’ll keep it in mind.
