Light Strawberry Parfait with Pure Via

purevia

Now that summer is on its way I’ve amped up my fitness efforts even more. Here in Florida we have no choice but to bare some skin, the alternative is melting, so I want to be in the best shape I can be. And beyond being active, I’m trying to eat a cleaner diet too…but that doesn’t mean I want tot totally give up splurging. Moderation is the key right? So, I have some go-to treats that won’t kill my fitness efforts and taste great too! And thanks to Pure Via®, I have a new “recipe” to add to my collection. They sent me a sampling of their sweeteners and I used their all natural zero calorie sweetener to create a delicious, low-cal strawberry parfait.

ingredients

stevia

I simply layered light whipped topping with strawberries that I sprinkled with Pure Via® Stevia Packets. The sweetener helped bring out the berries’ natural juices and a nice little syrup developed making the parfait even tastier! This tasty strawberry parfait is a lovely solo snack, but is pretty enough to serve at dinner party too! Pretty stemware always helps with presentation too. I’m partial to martini glasses, but I digress…

Is it just me or is there some kind of obsession with strawberries going around? Everywhere I turn there are more and more strawberries. I see them in every single shopping cart. Strawberries are on sale everywhere, in season. No one is complaining. I love them too. We made strawberry shortcake a few weeks ago, and it was pretty good. More than good, great even. Anything with fresh strawberries is brilliant. Thank you for your post. I will have to try this recipe sometime.

As a diabetic I am always looking for products and recipes that I can indulge with. I use stevia but have never tried the Via brand. I will get some next time I go shopping and test it out for myself!

My mom has diabetes… she has a sweet tooth and she feels so bad, when she has to avoid her favourite dishes because of sugar. But with Pure Via, I am sure she can now enjoy her favourite dishes without getting bothered by her sugar levels.

I’d put Pure Via in my infused waters. I’ve been trying to get into drinking more water so I’ve been infusing a jug with strawberries, pineapple, and blueberries but it’d be sooo much better with just a touch of natural sweetener.

Of course I would use Pure Via in tea! But now with spring and summer fruits coming, oh boy, I would love to use it with strawberries and also for a rhubarb compote! I also have been drinking orange juice, and like to add sweetener b/c it is too tart! I would love to try it!
