Do you have a go-to healthy meal or snack that you can always turn to in a pinch? Mine is my trusty easy green smoothie. It’s the perfect pick me up when I’m short on time and need a little something. Plus, it’s a ridiculously simple “recipe.” Now I know that the bright green color might turn some of you off, but I PROMISE, this smoothie is super tasty. You won’t even be able to tell that it’s packed with spinach. Can you think of an easier way to sneak extra veggies into your diet? I can’t!
1 medium banana
1-2 cups of spinach (I do 2, but you might want to start with 1)
1/2 cup of vanilla Greek yogurt
1/4 cup of almond milk
5 good sized ice cubes
Simply blend the above ingredients and enjoy your refreshing green smoothie! (I used my beloved Ninja blender to make mine. If you’re in the market for a blender, I can’t say enough good things about it. It’s so powerful and blends like a dream!)
