We’re back today with another Moms Do Fall Fashion outfit post and Nordstrom gift card giveaway! Each day this week we are sharing a fall look as well as hosting a Nordy’s gift card giveaway so be sure to enter each day’s giveaway. So let’s get this party started! Today I’m styling an envelope-side sleeveless sweater, perfect for cooler temps. And I’m not alone! Our girl Mom Fabulous is joining in on the fun so make sure to head over and check out her take on tunics!
When I spotted this deep rust sleeveless sweater at Banana Republic (note: they call it crimson red but to me that just isn’t the shade) I was intrigued. I love the color which just shouts fall, but I wasn’t sure about the silhouette and if it would be flattering. I tried it on and decided it was wortha go. It reminds me of something my Mom might have worn in the 70’s. So get ready, you may see another post with me wearing my flares and rocking out.
I decided to pair the sweater with a long-sleeve white tee and two of my Stitch Fix items the jeans and cfrossbody bag from my first box (you can see the unboxing video below and these are the only two items I opted to keep). The Henry & Belle Billy Skinny Jeans I really like. They are nicely fitted and a thicker denim weight that will work great through winter. Also, loving the wash of these!
This crossbody bag is perfect for fall. I love the olive tone and its a great size! I think it compliments the fall look without being too matchy. Here’s a similar one. And of course I’m still in love with these boots, the Guess Rulla bootie. They are the perfect height for me to wear all day without cursing the high heeled gods, ha. Of course a wrist full of fun bracelets always seems to add some pizzazz!
So that’s my look for today’s Moms Do Fall Fashion post. Let me know what you think of this sweater. Is it too 70’s or just right? Should I keep it?
