Game Day Gear for Kids: Booster Seat

featured

If you’re somewhat familiar with us BonBon Rose Girls, you know that we are Gator fans through and through. It’s been a few, ahem, years since we left the beautiful University of Florida, but we still bleed orange and blue as much as we ever did. In fact, my hubs got his MBA from UF, so we’re a dual Gator fan household. And while Megan’s significant other cheers for another certain SEC team, she’s bringing  her boys up right and teaching them Gator pride. Haha! So, you know that not only do we sport our colors all season long, but our kids do too. And we’re not just talking clothes…We’ve gone so far as to use Gator gear too!

Take our uber cool Gator 2-in-1 high back booster seat from Lil Fan for instance. It’s been quite the hit in our school pick up line! I plan on keeping my son in a booster as long as it’s physically possible and that’s going to be much easier if he’s happy with the seat. Happily he LOVES his Gator seat. He, of course, is all about it because he’s all about the “Go Gators” as he calls them, while Mama is enamored with the fact that it accommodates a child up to 110 lbs. Considering the dude barely clocks in at 40 lbs., we’ll be able to use this booster seat for quite a while. I’m also a big fan of the removable cover. We all know how messy things can get in the back seat. My children are champion spillers. Just sayin’!

Now obviously safety is my number one concern when it comes to car seats. Lil’ Fan seats are crash tested to meet or exceed the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and Regulations for Child Restraint Systems. This Gator fan can’t be sold on aesthetics alone. Haha!

For more info and to see if there is a seat with your favorite team’s name on it, head on over to the Lil Fan site.
