Hey there all you fab Bon Bon Rose readers! It’s Jackie Fo here, wedding, event planner and all around food lover, back with a Fall recipe that everyone is sure to want to gobble up!
Now that most parts of the country are starting to enjoy some cooler temps, a baked brie appetizer sounds delightful, don’t you agree? While the baked brie wrapped in dough is basically perfect on its own, I’ve made it a little cuter and even tastier by adding pears and caramel drizzle. Let’s check it out, shall we?
Mini Baked Brie with Cinnamon Pears and Caramel Drizzle
Servings: 5 Mini Bries
1 bag Brie Bites (I use Ile de France brand)
Pear halves (canned or fresh) diced into cubes and mixed with cinnamon
1 tube crescent roll
Directions: Preheat oven to 375 and spray a baking sheet. Mix together pear cubes and a teaspoon of cinnamon. Unroll crescent rolls and create 5 squares (4 will be already perforated, you’ll have to cut the 5th one out by cutting the other 4 pieces. Press together several pieces to make the 5th square.) Place a mini brie wheel on top of each dough square and top each brie with the pear mixture. Fold the dough around brie and pear, pinching the top and sides until there are no seams or perforations in the dough. Bake for 12-14 minutes, based on how much you want your brie to melt. Drizzle with caramel syrup and serve with crackers or fruit slices.
This beautiful little piece of deliciousness would be perfect as a starter on each plate at a dinner party or as a larger-scale party appetizer if you use the regular sized brie wheel. You can’t go wrong with this suped up (yet adorably mini) baked brie that’s bursting with fall flavor!
