Cranberry CookiesIt’s officially here. Valentine’s Day weekend. The weekend for mixing up sweets for all our sweets. Wether they be our family, friends, neighbors, teachers, the crazy lady at the grocery store, its such a nice gesture to make a gift for someone you care about. I mean why not make someone’s day by handing them a little homemade package of cookies. It would totally bring a smile to my face, that’s for sure!

These cranberry cookies filled with which chocolate chips and pecans make a delectable treat and are a good departure from some of the more standard cookie combos. I’m kinda known as the chocolate chip cookie queen so its fun surprising folks!
Cranberry Cookie IngredientsIngredients:
1 cup & 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup white sugar
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup softened butter
1 egg
1 teaspoon of vanilla extra
Mixing Cranberry Cookies Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a cookie sheet or line with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, beat together 1/2 cup softened butter, 1 egg and 1 teaspoon of vanilla until fluffy.

Add all the dry ingredients, and mix together by hand until well blended.

Drop by heaping spoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until edges start to brown. Cool on baking sheet or remove to cool on wire racks.Cranberry Cookie Dough
