Styling a Boyfriend Tunic

I love a good tunic like this boyfriend tunic from Chadwicks. For me, throwing on a tunic with leggings and either booties or sandals, depending on the weather, is an easy way to get ready and out the door quickly. I’m often alone with the boys trying to get ready in the morning and get us all where we need to be, so any easy looks that still feel really pulled together like this one are great.

Poplin Boyfriend Tunic

For this outfit, I choose the black and white trellis tunic pattern and paired it with some standard black leggings and black Banana Republic booties. It felt like it needed a little contrast to break up all the black, so I decided to punch things up a bit with a tan skinny belt. I love how the belt and boyfriend tunic work together here.

Of course, no look is complete without a little accessorizing, am I right? I recently purchased these delicate lightening bolt earrings from Stella and Dot and can not stop wearing them. These studs are only $19 so grab them if you can! I had a friend once tells me that she feels like her ears are naked without earrings and I couldn’t agree more. I have a hard time not wearing anything, so studs like these make my everyday list. No kids can grab and pull, ha!

How about you? Have you found that styling a longer boyfriend tunic like this one from Chadwicks makes getting ready easy in the morning? This look totally works for a day in my office or meetings without being overly complicated. Oh and this poplin boyfriend tunic in the trellis pattern is on sale for $29.99, so if you like it make sure to snatch it up quick!
