Floral Blazer for Days

Spring Floral BlazerSometimes its good to push yourself outside of your fashion comfort zone. That’s exactly what this floral blazer did in my most recent Stitch Fix box. Admittedly I took it out and literally said out loud, “Hmmm this print reads a little Grandma-like.” And then I went and tried it on and fell madly deeply in love with it. Its such a fun pop of color and works with both dresses and jeans. Perfect for feeling polished AND fun! Apparently not all floral prints have to scream grandmother!Spring JacketFor my first run through with this floral blazer, I paired it with a royal blue sleeveless shell. I loved pulling out that color from all the spring floral fun. I paired it with my dark boyfriend jeans to make the look feel more casual and these Michael Kors wedges, a new favorite of mine!
Spring Floral Blazer I kind of love this photo. If you ever wonder where my kids are in these photos, Max is buckled into his favorite little push car just off camera and clearly I’m just smitten with his cuteness. It can be a challenge to take outfit pics when that level of cuteness is just grinning at you nearby!WedgesOk back to the shoes. I just love these canvas wedges with the zipper detail. They are ridiculously comfortable and will be working it throughout plenty of my summer looks! They also come in a denim that feels slightly retro that I’m also eyeing. You can never have too many shoes, right? Ha!Spring Floral Blazer

That’s how I’m wearing my floral blazer right now. I’m also hoping to layer it over a solid dress for a work look but haven’t found the perfect dress just yet. What do you think? Is this floral blazer cool enough for school or do you only see your grandma’s favorite church dress when you look at it?
