If you’ve been reading for a while, you know Kristin and I are not strangers to stripes. We clearly can’t get enough of stripes and I’m especially bad when it comes to black and white stripes. They are just so classic and easy to style. Important as I rush out the door! So, when my April Stitch Fix box arrived I couldn’t help but kind of sigh when I saw yet another black and white striped top. I think I literally have four in my closet right now. And then somehow once I tried it on, I thought “But wait a minute, this is a DIFFERENT black and white striped top. It ISSSS!!!” I once again loved it and especially with the chambray shirt detail sewn in. It just really gives it an extra punch.
This top is just long enough to pair with leggings or really fitted pants which is what I did here. I get kind of funny if tops are too short with leggings. I mean I AM a mom and in my thirties, it feels odd to rock that look to often at this point. I then added some jute strappy black wedges and a few bangles to dress it up a bit. Ive had the wedges for a few years and it just goes to show you that some shoes just work for several seasons! Worth it!
And yes Max just had to get in on the action. He was really wanting to be a part of my OOTD!
This look was just so easy to pull together I’m sure it will be a summer regular. And in the meantime I will put myself on black and white stripes shopping lockdown.
And if you are a lover of stripes, here’s another look from Kristin donning our favorite combo!
