How To Make a Green Smoothie with Beech-Nut

As a mom of two VERY energetic boys, Jake (a 4-year-old) and Max (a 1 ½ year-old), it can be hard to get them to focus on food. After all, there are so many games to play! And like many parents, I really strive to make sure they are eating a balanced diet with healthy, nutritious foods.Smoothie Brothers
I wasn’t expecting Max to want to be just like his big brother so early on. I feel like everything is happening so much faster with him and he simply can’t wait to keep up. That even includes what he eats. If he sees his big brother eating something happily, he is all in! For us, this has meant that table foods are being introduced and consumed earlier than I had intended. He has even been known to sneak food off big brother’s plate when he isn’t looking!

Lucky for me, Jake loves his smoothies in the morning, and now so does Max! It’s a positive copycat effect! Green Mango Smoothie

Ingredients:
1 jar of Beech-Nut® Stage 2 Organics™ just peas & spinach
1 banana
2 cups frozen mango chunks
Approx. 4 oz yogurt (can be any flavor you have on hand, I use strawberry)
¾ cup of water (to make sweeter can use apple juice as substitute)

Directions:
Place all the ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth. Pour and enjoy!.
