If I love anything in the fall, it’s a good old plaid shirt. Much like plaid scarves, I have a slew of them, but I found the perfect plaid shirt last fall. It’s a Treasure Bond number that I scored at Nordstrom and I was literally obsessed. I could not stop wearing it. It was so flattering…so comfy…so everything! I never thought I would find another plaid shirt that I loved as much as that one, until I walked into Target the other day. As per usual I found something I HAD to have. Well, truth be told, I found more than one thing, but we’re talking about plaid shirts today. Bwah!
Since I have so much red plaid in my wardrobe, I decided I wanted to branch out this year. So, I’ve been on the lookout for other colors. When I came across this blue plaid beauty, I knew I had to add it to my plaid shirt collection. It too, like my Treasure Bond shirt, fits just right and is sublimely soft. Who knew there could be more than one perfect plaid shirt? Plus, it looks just fabulous with one my other favorite new fall scores, knee high Ugg boots. I picked them up during the Nordstrom anniversary sale and can already tell that they’re going to get a ton of play this season!
So, how do you feel about plaid shirts lovelies? Are they a fall wardrobe must have for you too? If you don’t have one yet or aren’t sure if they’re for you, I urge you to head over to Target. Not only do they have a great selection, but you don’t have to spend an arm and a leg to try out the trend. But don’t be afraid to invent in one if you do love them. My Treasure Bond plaid shirt was worth every penny!
