Tips for Styling Ivory for Fall

Ivory Shift dress with black booties

I love ivory and winter whites, but they don’t have to only come out of the closet during the coldest months of the year. That shade of white is so pretty that I think items like this ivory shift dress deserve to be shown off, even in fall, which is why I’m sharing some of my favorite tips on how to style ivory this season for today’s Moms Do Fall Fashion.

Our series is almost wrapped up so make sure to enter our Nordstrom Gift Card Giveaway while you still can. And today we’re linking up with our girls Baby Shopaholic and Very Busy Mama so head over and see what they are styling up this season!

Ok, lets talk ivory. This ivory shift dress ended up in my Boden cart recently. I knew it would be a great dress for both work and going out and it was on clearance at $35.40.  Yes that’s right, I found a Boden dress for just over $35. I just had to have it. I love the quality of their clothes and just think that they make great dresses for women that transition easily throughout the day. Maybe it’s just me but I often go from meetings in a board room to a coffee shop to parents night type things. I need clothes to be versatile!

Colorblock clutch

I know when we think fall fashion we often think rich warm hues like navy and brown. But why not try something bold like this ivory shift dress with tights and a bright clutch? Its a classic look punched up a bit with some brightness. If you wanted to bring in hues for fall, a nice leopard print scarf or burgundy pump would also do the trick!

Of course my LK Bennet black booties are my dressy bootie staple. They were worth the investment and I wear them everywhere! Surprisingly that heel is very comfortable. I’m hoping Santa brings me another pair this year. I especially love this peep-toe version. I’ve been good, promise….

I love everything about this look — the off white with the dark black tights and delicate booties. It screams classic, crisp and total sophistication. At first glance it made me smile 🙂 And by the way, NICE LEGS! xoxo
