How to Wear Black Booties

Welcome to the the second day of our Moms Do Fall Fashion series! Each day we’re teaming up with a fabulous style blogger to bring you fun fall outfit ideas. Today our partner is Ellen from That Chic Mom so make sure you head over to her site to see what she styled! As for us, we’re going to talk about booties today, namely black booties…Booties will forever be on our fall must haves list and I picked up a pair of black suede booties from J. Jill last year that proved to be endlessly versatile. While, I love my brown booties, I found myself wearing black ones non-stop!

What’s so great about black booties is how well they go with both casual and dressier looks. I’ve definitely been known to rock my booties with dresses like Megan did, but you’ll find me most often wearing them with my go-to skinnies in the fall. Last year I couldn’t get enough of ponchos and booties and I do believe I’ll be bringing back that look this year too!

I did go all in with the trend after all, so I’m glad that ponchos are still relevant so I can get more than a season’s wear out of my investment. Haha! And I may have went a little crazy with more than one black booties purchase too. These fringe booties proved to be so much fun and, thanks to them being Aerosoles, were ridiculously comfortable as well. They too go great with ponchos and if skinnies aren’t your thing, you can do leggings instead! We’re all about easy peasy fall fashion!
