We are winding down on our Moms Do Holiday Style series where each day we’ve partnered with our blog friends to bring together our favorite holiday looks AND have a $250 Nordstrom Gift Card Giveaway. With only two more days to go, we are excited to partner with Heather from My Life Well Loved. She is wonderful, be sure to go take a look!
For today’s look I’m styling my take on a classic red sweater. We’re headed to Jake’s holiday school program which is just the sweetest way to take in the season. These kids are so adorable and then poor Jake always gets the worst stage fright. Last year he dropped the little baby Jesus so many times it got taken away. Poor guy!
With the arctic blast that has taken a hold of most of the country, temperatures are truly freezing. I snapped these pics in about 2 minutes before I had to put on my coat! I love how this J. Jill classic red sweater instantly transformed me into being holiday ready. It is the softest cashmere and you know I’m always a fan of the tunic style.
The ponte knit leggings that we are seeing everywhere right now were an easy pairing. And these J. Jill short boots also hit just the right look of chic but not over done. If you like the look of these boots you will love how they feel! They run very true to size and instantly comfortable.
Of course the accessories are what really pulls together this holiday look with a classic red sweater. This is one necklace with multiple faux pearl strands. It is definitely costume jewelry but I was surprised how many people commented on it with the red sweater. Clearly a take notice combination. Having the multiple strands be just a little messy helps keep the whole look from being too stuffy.
And with this bright morning sun, even on a frigid winter day I am in need of wearing my Ray-Ban’s. They are the Erika and I’ve linked to them below. Perfect for a holiday gift!

I’m all set for the Christmas program with my little non-preformer. I can’t wait to go and cheer him on!
