The Ideal Winter Coat

Christmas may be over, but we have plenty of wintry weather ahead and I’m guessing, for some of you, a good deal of snow. That means we all need a great winter coat to get us through those chilly days until spring finds us again. Luckily for me, I found the ideal winter coat at J. Jill. I’m talking about the Highland Park Long Down Puffer Coat. It’s the kind of coat that I can run errands in during the day then throw on over my date night look in the evening thanks to the faux fur trimmed hood which dresses it up a bit and makes it a little more special than your run of the mill puffer jacket.

This super cozy little number proved to be the perfect coat to take on our recent trip to Washington D.C. While we were there, the weather ran the gamut from rainy in the 60s to frigid in the 20s and this coat worked for each and every day. It kept me quite warm, yet was not so insulated that I sweated. I just layered a bit more on the super cold days and wore the hood when I really needed some extra warmth.

So, if you’re looking for the ideal winter coat to add to your winter wardrobe, look no further than J. Jill and this puffer and parka in one! You’ll be comfy, cozy and have a piece of outerwear that you can turn to that is downright cute!

Your trip looks like so much fun, and I love the coat. A good winter coat is such a necessity.
