I might have already mentioned a few hundred times how this spring so many fashion trends revolve around pretty feminine details. From ruffles and bell sleeves to pretty pale pinks, its all about the girly girl right now. Even if your aren’t into investing in something trendy, there are still ways to get the same vibe. One great was is to wear florals. We all have a few pretty floral things way in our closets and with some fun styling they will be right on trend this year. Here are three ways I’ve worn florals to get the fashion creative juices flowing.
First up is floral heels. These floral heels are unexpected and surprisingly subtle. I love how different they make this look than if I had worn my typical black pumps. It feels fresh and spot on for spring.
Second is this floral blazer from Stitch Fix. It remember that it felt so outside my comfort zone when I initially opened the box, but after some fun styling it has been a total hit. I’ve worn it a few times in different ways and it always gets a reaction which I totally love. With all the pink at stores right now I could see layering this over a pink sheath dress. Now I just need to find one!
Finally, another way to wear florals is with a sweet floral blouse. This blouse has been a fun pop when needed and it definitely feels like its right on trend. It may not have the bell sleeves and ruffles that are everywhere, but the big floral print reads perfectly feminine for this time of year.
So that’s my take on three ways to wear florals and test out this spring’s ultra girly girl trends. Are you into trying any of the trends right now?
