Off the Shoulder Summer Style

Remember when I told you I was all in with off the shoulder looks? Well, I was dead serious. Haha! I can’t get enough of them. In fact, let’s talk off the shoulder summer style…The other day I showed you my favorite new off the shoulder top with a fun gingham print…and today I’m all about the stripes. And they’re very casual stripes at that. While my gingham top could be dressed up a bit more, and I may do just that in the very near future, this easy breezy striped off the shoulder top is more at home with casual things like flats. In fact, I paired it with the very same flat sandals and accessories that I wore my gingham top with.

Yep, you’re seeing the same Stitch Fix frayed hem jeans, gladiator sandals, straw bag and bracelet that I featured earlier this week. They ended up being just perfect for a fun afternoon tooling around an outdoor market in Bryant Park. When one is shopping for things like baguettes, one most definitely wants to be comfortable. I only had a bite or two thanks to my primarily gluten free status these days, but they were a glorious few bites. Bwah!

Shop the look: off the shoulder top / cross body straw bag / coordinates bracelet / frayed hem jeans from Stitch Fix / metallic gladiator sandals / cat eye sunglasses

In case you missed my outfit details the other day, I included the bag (and more) details above. If you only get one new bag for the warm weather months, and you’re on a bit of a budget, I highly suggest this straw cross body number. Not only does it scream summertime, it’s a great deal too! And I’m definitely starting to think more about summer. Both of my featured looks this week have been all about the off the shoulder summer style!

I love the off the shoulder look but I’m not sure I could pull it off unless I had a really good supportive strapless bra which I have never been able to find in my size .

That bag is so chic. I think I might need to sign up for Stitch Fix again. Looks like they have some great pieces for spring and summer.

I don’t currently own any off the shoulder tops, but it is getting hot quick around here so I better go out and get some.
