Three Classic Fall Outfits

Hi, my name is Kristin and I’m officially obsessed with al things fall. Pumpkin spice, apples, the colors, college football…I could go on and on. I love it ALL! And fall fashion is right up there on my reasons I love fall list. And while I definitely pay attention to the trends of any given season, I certainly don’t solely subscribe to them. There are classic fall outfits that I will turn to again and again no matter what the trends are. And I bet many of you fellow busy mamas don’t have the time or the energy to obsess over trends. You need to invest in pieces that you’ll be able to wear time and time again right?

knee-high-boots-look

Tunic, skinnies and knee high boots…This combo will always work. Always. Sure wide leg pants are hot hot hot this season and I’ll certainly be rockin’ those too, but a tunic and skinnies or leggings tucked into knee boots is a figure flattering look that you will always feel great in! This may be my favorite outfit from all of last year. Just sayin’.

denim-shirt-outfit

Denim shirt and leggings…For the same reason the above outfit works, so does this. Denim shirts and leggings worn together are simply oh so flattering. A word to the wise…Make sure your denim shirt is neither too tight or too loose. It should skim your body and cover your tush if leggings are part the equation. Haha!

Poncho and skinnies…Yep, I’m still feelin’ ponchos. I just can’t quit them. It doesn’t get much easier than throwing on a poncho over a plain old tee and skinny jeans. Ponchos instantly elevates your looks and keep you nice and warm when those fall temps start to chill you! I probably have a few too many in my wardrobe, but you can bet I’ll be adding a new one this fall. Bwah!

Shop the looks…orange tunic / knee high boots / skinny jeans / denim shirt / leggings / poncho

So, there you have it…A few of my go-to classic fall outfits. I hope they’ve inspired you to add some more classic fall pieces to your wardrobe!
