Pink Velour Tee Shirt for Spring

Pink Velour Tee Shirt

With warm weather just around the corner, I thought I’d share how I wore this pink velour tee shirt for spring. While I may have another month or so where I live, while I was visiting Kristin in Florida this weekend the weather was pretty hot. I loved every second of it! These are a few casual pictures we took as we were heading out but I plan on restyling this to show you a few other ways you can take on the Velour tee shirt this spring.

I will be the first to admit that when I saw the trends heading towards so much velour and velvet I wasn’t sure. Would this be like reliving my youth? We really wore a TON of crushed velvet back in the day! But after my floral body suit and this velour tee, I’m really enjoying the trend in small doses. The fabric has so much texture and is really fun to style!

This pink velour tee was something I picked up at a boutique in Georgia. Sadly they no longer have it on their site, but I did link to a few other great options below. I love the shimmery pale pink color and while this is a shade that normally doesn’t work great on my skin tone, somehow the texture of the velour makes it work.

For a casual spring time vibe, I paired the pink velour tee with my white frayed jeans. I’m still digging how the frayed denim makes everything feel edgy and laid back.

And of course to top off the look these sunglasses are from J. Crew Factory and are on sale for a steal right now! I’m loving how I can change up my look with them without worrying about them getting scratched.

The minute it gets warm out I always revert to my Sam Edelman Gigi sandals. My closet staple! These gold croc ones are sure to be worn from now until Labor Day. Don’t you just love how the texture makes them feel a bit special?

Now that I’ve styled this pink velour tee shirt for spring, I think I will change it up and style it for a night out in Paris next week. Stay tuned!
