Travel Smarter with Wyndham Vacation Rentals

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Wyndham Vacation Rentals. Anyone who has traveled with a young family knows how challenging it can be to transport all of the must pack items that seem to always end up including everything but the kitchen sink. This is especially true if you're traveling with a baby or toddler. In addition to their clothes and toys, space hogging gear is often a travel necessity too. But where do you put it all once you get to the hotel room? Even if you have a suite,...

4th of July Recap

4th of July

I know this post is a week behind, but we just had to share these photos. For the second year in a row, we were able to get the BonBon families together on the 4th of July. This year we were staying with family at Daytona Beach and Kristin, being a true bestie, loaded up the family in the car and made the 3 hour trek to come see us if even for a few short hours. It is so great to see our kids playing together and such a rare treat!  I also love how...

Historic St. Augustine and The Renaissance World Golf Village Resort

You may remember when I mentioned that we visited St. Augustine a couple weeks ago for a little family getaway. Well, I'm ready to give you all the fabulous details on our wonderful stay at the award winning Renaissance World Golf Village Resort. The World Golf Village Resort was kind enough to host us for the weekend and, let me tell you, they rolled out the red carpet! Upon arrival, I was greeted at the front desk by a friendly and extremely helpful fellow named John. After finding out what our tentative plans were for the...

Key West Vacation Hot Spots

Are you guys ready for a post with more photos than I think I've ever posted before? Going through our vacation photos and thinking about the best places to share was hard.  So, I am going with the "everything but the kitchen sink" post.  Previously I shared photos of our hotel and a few other spots, so today is all about food, shopping and fun! First up is the southernmost point in the continental United States. We just had to get a photo of this iconic tourist spot and finding a time without a long line...

Key West Family Vacation

Key West Family Vacation

Two weeks ago I slipped in a family vacation to Key West.  We had some friends in Florida we wanted to visit and going for a few days beforehand, just the three of us, seemed like a great way to squeeze in some family time in what is shaping up to be a very busy summer. I still have a ton of photos to go through, so today I thought I would narrow it down and just share our hotel with you lovelies. Since we don't have any other vacations planned this year we decided to...

Afternoon Stroll on Peachtree St.

A few weekends ago Floyd and I flew to Atlanta, Georgia for the wedding weekend of one of our best friends.  The wedding was in Midtown Atlanta at the Georgian Terrace hotel on Peachtree St. This particular hotel is no ordinary hotel, but rather it's known for its rich history and the fact that it hosted the premiere gala of Gone With The Wind.  You could almost feel the drama thick in the air!  It was easy with the historic architecture and candlelight to get swept up in the romance of it all.  It was a beautiful wedding and the...

Wendy Mink Jewelry, A Charming Boutique

If you've been around here for a while, the name Wendy Mink Jewelry shouldn't be a new one to you. You might remember our giveaway collaborations. Judging from the great response they got, I'm guessing you appreciate Wendy Mink's designs as much as we do! It is now my great pleasure to introduce you to the brand's darling brick and mortar, New York City location. Megan and I squeezed an afternoon of shopping into our fashion week trip and we made it a point to stop at Wendy Mink. We had both been drooling over the...

A Hidden Gem, Meg Cohen Design Shop

Back in October I posted about a shop I happily stumbled upon while on a quiet street in Soho, the Meg Cohen Design Shop. While there the first time I had the opportunity to meet Meg Cohen herself, so when I knew I was headed back to the Big Apple in February I quickly reached out and she graciously allowed us to come in to talk shop. Her adorable shop is in its 5th year (quite a milestone for any boutique!) and for any Soho buffs out there, it is in the old Kate Spade space...

Champagne Saturday: A BonBon Rose Girl Does Philly

So, as you know, last weekend I jetted off for a weekend getaway with my ladies in the city of brotherly love. We had SO much fun that I forgot to take any proper outfit pics. I assure you that I busted out some cute looks, like my sequin pocketed Ann Taylor Loft cardi, for instance, but you'll just have to take my word for it. HA! Oh, and no, we did not plan to all sport the same color bags. We're just chicks who happen to love mustard. What can I say? Take note of...

Champagne Saturday: Getting Cozy

Happy weekend! While Kristin is off in Philly having a glam filled girls weekend (hey ladies!!) here in Annapolis things are pretty low key.  I have some baking, shopping and decorating to do and tomorrow night it's a Hanukkah dinner with friends. Last night I had a few glasses of vino with dinner, so this morning I voted against the bubbly in favor of hot cocoa with loads of marshmallows.  It was the first I've had in ages and it was delish!  Floyd and I have a little Starbucks mug collection from places around the world...
