BonBon Deal of the Day: The Perfect Animal Print Scarf

Being a small business ourselves, we love supporting fellow small business owners, so today I'm featuring a piece that I picked up recently from one of my favorite Etsy shops, EugeniaWoods. The lovely ladies behind EugeniaWoods are from St. Petersburg, which isn't too far from my neck of the woods here in Tampa, so not only am I plugging a small biz, I get to support a local business too! If you're looking for the perfect cheetah print scarf, this is it! It's gorgeous and a total steal at $25.00. Insert a little chicness into your...

A Family Portrait from Browneye

How cute is this family portrait?! When I discovered that an old friend had launched an Esty shop, browneye, creating custom portraits and off-color greeting cards, I jumped at the chance to have her design a portrait of us. I just love this modern take on a traditional concept! I decided to hang the portrait in the laundry room next to this awesome vintage "Y" that was a gift from a friend (#TeamLynnB Shout out!).  It may seem like a strange place to hang artwork, but it's basically the side door into our home and the entrance...

BonBon Deal of the Day: Wood Vases

When I saw this set of gorgeous wood vases on the front page of Etsy, I knew I had to post about them! They go perfectly with Megan's serene space from earlier today no?  Would you believe that you can get all three for just $25.00? I just love them with the pale pink roses. Thanks to these and Megan's peaceful retreat inspiration board, I'm feeling a little redecorating action coming on! Thoughts? ...

Meg’s Office Windows Finally Get Dressed

That's right.  My poor home office windows have been naked for years and it's about time someone did something about it!  I've mentioned wanting to redo my room (although can you really redo a room that was never done?)  so many times and for some reason it continues to be the sad neglected room in our house.  But not anymore! In November, you might recall a post where I took a poll to see which custom Etsy curtain you liked best.  Here is the recap of the three in case you missed it. I am always drawn...

Attainable Original Artwork

One of the great things about Etsy is that in addition to wonderful handmade accessories and clothing, you can also find amazing original artwork that is affordable. I'm a fan of using unique artwork throughout my house, but in the past I've been intimidated by the high ticket prices I see at galleries and festivals.  Because of this, we tend to use Floyd's photography but recently I've been trying to balance his photography with other artwork. I'm just starting to work out how I want to decorate my home office and these illustrations from Lola Donoghue's Etsy...

5 Etsy Thanksgiving Tokens

Good morning lovelies! I'm back after being in Atlanta for a wedding. It was a fab time, despite the whole getting on an airplane ginormously pregnant thing.  It was a wedding that I would have regretted missing, so the extra effort was definitely worth it.  Besides, I love to shake it on the dance floor and for some reason it's a tad inappropriate to go to a dance club 8 months pregnant.  I have no idea why?!  Those unfortunate enough to have seen it in person know that while I love to dance I am...

Fun Barware!

Being pregnant, it had been some time since I'd pulled out any of our fun barware, that is until I put together the Halloween table setting last week.  Clearly, I have more use for cute shot glasses filled with candy corn than filled with anything else right now!  Taking them out and getting creative with their use reminded me of just how great it is to have festive barware and dishes on hand.  They can be so extremely versatile, from using them to hold a delicious dessert to a mini-bud vase at each dinner setting. Here  are some great pieces I found...

Clutch Love

I may have spent a teensy weensy amount of time on Etsy recently and stumbled across this fabulous clutch from Etsy shop Death and Taxes.  I am just swooning over the bright orange color, leather detailing on the front and back AND the fact that it's made of cotton which makes it a little more casual than the rest of the clutches in my lil' collection.  I mean, how cute would this be all fall with a blazer and riding boots?!  I think it just got upgraded from Lust to Must! Have a fab Friday evening! ...
