Red, White and Easy Baked Brie

Hey there and happy official summer to the lovely Bon Bon Rose Girls readers! It’s Jackie Fogartie from the Jackie Fo Blog and I’ve got an easy entertaining recipe you will love. I have two words for you…baked Brie.

I’m a huge cheese fan – I just can’t get enough! One of my faves is Brie, and when it’s baked under a flaky crescent roll crust it’s pure heaven! I decided to do a festive spin on baked brie for the Fourth of July by adding strawberries and blueberries, making it Red, White and easy baked BRIE!

Here’s the super duper easy ingredient list and directions:

Red, White and Easy Baked Brie!

Serves 8

1 wheel of Brie Cheese

1 tube of Crescent Rolls

8 large strawberies, diced plus more for garnish

1/4 cup blueberries, plus more for garnish

1 egg

Crackers for serving

1. Start by preheating your oven to 350 and unwrapping your brie wheel and crescent rolls. Separate the crescent rolls into 2 squares.

2. Place your brie on one crescent square and top with blueberries and strawberries. Fold the remaining crescent square on top and bring the bottom square over the top until the entire wheel is covered.

3. Brush with beaten egg and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown. Let cool for about 10 minutes and serve with crackers. Enjoy!

Who knew cheese could be so…patriotic? Are you ready to make your own easy baked brie?

Wow. I’ve never baked brie before because I thought it would be outside the range of my very limited culinary skills, but this looks like something I NEED to try (and it looks simple enough that I shouldn’t mess it up). Thanks for the recipe!
