More often than not, I start my day with my favorite green smoothie. It’s an excellent way to fit more veggies into my diet. Plus, it’s so easy to whip together! Did I mention how tasty it is?!? I know it’s green, kind of odd looking and has spinach in it, but you have to trust me on this…It’s sooooooo good.
Now I love spinach. Spinach salads are my jam…But I don’t think I want my breakfast smoothie tasting like greens. And you probably don’t either. Haha! Luckily the other ingredients in this easy green smoothie blend beautifully with the spinach, so it has a nice fruity feel to it. That being said, I know some of you are still probably thinking that a bright green smoothie isn’t your cuppa tea…Well, I’m here to tell you that once you go green, you’ll never go back! To be able to drink down a cup or two of veggies in no time flat…Doesn’t that sound awesome? I thought so. I’m going to give you the skinny on my favorite recipe!
1-2 cups of spinach
1/2 cup of Greek Yogurt
1/4 cup of almond milk
5 ice cubes
