I’m starting to feel the slight twinges of spring. Are you? Sure I’m sure we have another snow storm or two to endure, but the weather is bouncing all over the place with waking up to a sheet of ice one morning and 45 degrees and sunny the next. So I’m already starting to shift my wardrobe into spring. After all the groundhog said spring was coming so it must be so! This tweed shift dress seemed like a great way to start feeling the spring-like vibes.
I picked it up this little tweed shift dress this weekend at Ann Taylor and it was MAJORLY on sale. I love an easy dress that makes getting ready in the morning simple and chic. This dress is the perfect example of that. Just throw it on and go!
Traditionally I think of tweed as a fall material. But the fun blue, lavender and pink tones make this tweed shift dress feel ready for spring. I also love the short sleeves with the slight fringe! Of course its not exactly warm and balmy here so I wore it with black tights and patent wedges. We’re not quite ready for bare legs and open toes here in Maryland!
And here’s a quick selfie on my way into the office. Check out that killer traffic, ughhhh! Ha!
And make sure to check out this week’s Monday Mingle for more spring looks! It’s time to get ready and get shopping!
