If you know me in real life you know that makeup is something I’m more than willing to splurge on. As I’ve gotten further into my thirties I’ve found myself getting more and more into makeup. It doesn’t hurt that one of my best friends is a professional makeup artist. Over the years, she’s introduced me to her best beauty picks and techniques that even this uncoordinated girl could master. Haha!
In years past I was more of a minimalist when it came to makeup and, while my daily look is still pretty natural, I’ve definitely added more products to my collection. Many of them are department store brands rather than drugstore brands, but there are some budget friendly products that I love too! Take Loreal for instance…they have a slew of fun products that would be perfect to add to your summer beauty routine! Here are some of my best beauty picks from Loreal…
1. Voluminous Butterfly Mascara: If you’re looking for a clump free formula that will give your lashes serious volume, this mascara is for you! What girl doesn’t want to have va-va-voom kinda lashes?!
2. Magic Skin Beautifier: If I’m not wearing tinted moisturizer, I’m usually wearing a BB cream. I love that they give you coverage without being drying or feeling heavy! I like to add a drop of this to my normal moisturizer and blend otherwise the color is too intense.
3. Color Riche Dual Effects Eyeshadow: My everyday look usually includes a swipe of a sandy, neutral colored eyeshadow and Absolute Taupe has a great one in a handy dandy little compact. Daily looks should be easy breezy and fast right?
4. Visible Lift Blur Blush: I am such a cream blush addict. I’ve found that they add such a beautiful rosy glowy to your cheeks and this one does just that without breaking the bank. It does wear off sooner than a powder blush, but I just keep it in my bag if I know I’ll be out all day.
So, which of these best beauty picks are you going to try lovelies? And for more beauty fun, check out what’s in our summer bag…one of our favorite sun care products is, that’s what!
