I’m sneaking my white in these days. Yes, I hear you loud and clear, and I agree, white CAN and SHOULD be worn year round. We don’t have to succumb to the ol’ Labor Day rules these days.
However, I still wear white most often in the summer months when things are super hot. These white cropped jeans and bright linen tunic scream summer fabrics to me which is perfect considering we get some crazy humidity here in Annapolis in July and August.
The linen tunic has some great stitching detail and I love the length. The key hole detail is also nice, since I tend to need a little something on the neckline for things not to look too boxy on me. This linen tunic would also look great with dark skinnies and if your office is on the casual dress code side it could pull double work wear/weekend wear duty. That’s always the goal of an office working mama right?
I’m also truly loving these rose gold sandals. Thin straps on sandals like these make them very easy to dress up or down and they have been very comfortable straight from the start. I love when I don’t have to actually break in a pair of new shoes, don’t you?!
Funny story about this nail polish color. It’s called Eurso Euro and I instantly chose it. It has a purple tint to what is otherwise a dark blue. Well, when I sat down in the chair a sassy elderly woman sat down next to me. She leaned over and loudly exclaimed, “Well that’s a wack-a-do color!” I simply didn’t know what to say so I just laughed. Hopefully when I get to be a sassy old broad I’ll keep some of my opinions to myself, ha! In the meantime I think it pairs great with most of my outfits so I’ll take my wacky polish choice any day!
