Now that Halloween is over this girl is ready to skip straight to Christmas. I’m kidding…sort of. Haha! I do love the month of the November because not only is it my birthday month, but I live for Thanksgiving turkey, so there’s that! I know there are many of you out there who hate that Thanksgiving is overlooked in all the holiday mania, so this post is for you! I’ve rounded up some fun fall entertaining ideas that will make your Thanksgiving, or any fall gathering really, even more special!
Outdoor Fall Table…Before the snow starts hitting you Northern friends of ours, why not set up a sweet fall table outside? There is something so charming about dining al fresco and your guests will surely appreciate the effort! Plus, it makes for a perfect opportunity to serve warm drinks, like my personal favorite, mulled wine!
Candy Corn Stalk Treats…If you’re going to have kids at your get together, you want to keep them entertained. Letting them make their own candy corn stalk treats should definitely do the trick. Not only are they super easy to make, but they can serve as a cute centerpiece on the kids’ table when you’re done. Simply arrange them on a platter and voila!
Fall Hurricane Centerpiece…Speaking of centerpieces, it doesn’t get much easier than creating one with a hurricane vase! In fact, our most popular fall entertaining ideas post of all time was our holiday hurricane centerpiece. Just grab some fall accents like leaves and or acorns and you’re all set. And those leaves I mentioned can be used in other ways to decorate for your guests, like on your light fixture!
Fall Lighting…When entertaining, it’s all about the details. Put festive touches in the unlikeliest of places and you’ll create an experience your guests won’t soon forget. Wrapping beautifully colored leaves around your light fixture is an easy way to achieve that wow factor all us hostesses are forever after!
Fall Tablescape…You can use those same leaves to create your fall tablescape. If you aren’t lucky enough to live in a part of the country where the leaves change so you can snag some fresh ones, you can always pick up a bag of”faux” leaves at your local craft store. I found some great ones at Cost Plus World Market!
So, there you have it…Five festive fall entertaining ideas! I hope they will help you appreciate all November has to offer too!
