Since Thanksgiving is but a few days away, I’m guessing most of us are pretty set with our plans. You probably know what your cooking and what you’re wearing…So, let’s talk holiday style shall we? Those holiday get togethers and gatherings are right around the corner. The only question is…Is your holiday wardrobe ready? If it’s not, we have some easy suggestions for how to weave a holiday favorite, red, into your holiday style. Sure, it’s a typical holiday color, but it’s so darn festive. Why pass it by, just because it’s traditional? While we might not get decked out in head to toe read, it’s definitely woven into our holiday looks. So, I thought I would share a few of our favorite ways to add red to your holiday style this season!
Add Red to Your Holiday Style
Red blouse…A fun printed red blouse can be styled so many ways for the holidays. You can wear it with leather for a edgy look like Megan does here, with denim trousers for casual Friday or even skinnies for girls’ night out! The options are endless with this powerhouse piece.
Red shoes…What’s more fun than a fabulous pair of red heels? Well, it turns out, red flats are just as fun! And they just so happen to be my top pick for how to add red to your holiday style. Plus, they’re more comfortable! Pair them with every day winter neutrals like grey or black and your look will have a fierce pop of color!
Red pants…Ok, so these jeggings are more of a cranberry hue, but you get the picture. Megan’s lace top would have been totally fab with black or a regular denim rinse, but the bold color of her red(ish) pair really takes this look to a whole other level!
So, there you have it…Three easy ways to add red to your holiday style! There’s nothing wrong with the classics folks. On that note, who wants to watch White Christmas with me?! The hot cocoa is heating up. Just sayin’.
