Red Rain Boots for Spring

Who doesn’t need a pop of color come those rainy days of Spring? I always forget how rainy and muddy the season can get. And even though it is just February we’ve already been getting rain. So red rain boots for spring are just perfect! Bring on the fun wellies!

I live on 2 acres of land that I love playing and exploring around with the boys. I call it “mucking about” and it’s a great way to waste a morning and get fresh air. I also take a kid to the bus stop each morning. Basically I’m finding that I wear wellies quite often these days. When I saw these red rain boots for spring from Lands’ End it was a no brainer. It’s even better that they are part of their Red Collection that donates 10% to the American Heart Association through the end of February. How awesome is that!? I love their deep rich red color and they have a slight moto vibe to them that I dig.

Of course styling wellies is pure fun. Most days I wear them with black but given that it’s February I decided to show the love. I picked up this classic button down with sweet little red hearts on it at Old Navy. It will be fun to wear this shirt year round but my kids are really into holidays so yes, I will be the mom wearing this to the Valentine’s Day class party. The things we do to get those smiles!

White Levi’s bring it all together. I think white jeans can go with just about anything and this look is perfect for the spring vibe I’m working with.

And of course what works best in February but red nails! I actually didn’t go too red over the Christmas holidays so fun bright red nails is making me smile.
