Lemongrass and Lavender Stress Relief Bath Salts

Ingredients:

A 16 oz. glass bottle with lid
1.5 cups Epsom salts
.5 cups baking soda
13 drops lavender essential oil
10 drops lemongrass essential oil
Mixing bowl, funnel if needed and whisk

Directions:

If you have a bottle with a skinner neck and not a wide jar, just use the funnel to put the salts into it. You can upcycle some really fun bottles but in that way it can bring a challenge to filling them at times!

Measure out your Epsom salts into mixing bowl first, and whisk to break up any lumps it may have in it. Once you know it’s all smooth, go ahead and add in your baking soda and mix well.
Add in the essential oils next and be careful to go slowly when you’re counting drops. Both lavender and lemongrass are thinner oils and runny in nature, and they can fly out of that bottle if you’re not cautious. Using your whisk, mix them in and be sure they have dispersed well before you put them into the jar.

If you find you have a little room in the top of the jar once you’ve mixed it all and it has settled some, just top the jar off with a bit more of the salts.
These can make a great gift for someone and you can dress it up with some ribbon or twine to make it look extra special.

To use these stress relief bath salts:

Sprinkle about ½ cup in your bath under running water and then just kick back and relax.
