With school ending last week and the sun shining, it finally feels like we have all let loose and summer has arrived! This is my absolute favorite time of year and I love nothing more than long lazy days spent outside swimming and hanging out poolside. My fashion is most relaxed in summer and this Off the Shoulder Ruffle Top is the perfect example of a closet staple I can dress up or down all season long. This is how I styled it for a day around town.
From fun lunches to hanging on a friend’s boat, this off the shoulder summer top transitions so easily. It’s kind of billowy which I like for really hot days. And I love how there is a drawstring at the center to tie up and just give that added detail and extra support. It just makes it cuter, don’t you think?
I paired it with my new favorite Old Navy jean shorts. I’m pretty tall so I tend to go for the shorts with a 5 inch inseam. However I also highly recommend the 3 inch inseam of these since they are so cute and comfortable.
Of course I threw on my black Sam Edelman sandals. I have so many pairs now it’s kind of embarrassing but they are just so easy, cute and comfortable!
The straw clutch is another great accessory to grab and go. It screams summer and looks killer having a lunch on the water. It’s one of those little accessory details that really pay off!
There’s my easy, breezy, off the shoulder summer ruffle top! I have big plans to pair with white jeans, and a cute cotton pencil skirt all summer long. It also comes in red and white so hurry and snag it up if you are interested!
