How To Style A Vest For Fall

How to Style a Vest for Fall

I’m so excited to share this look today since it’s all about how to style a vest for fall. It’s a great time of year for layering and a vest can be such a fun way to up your everyday style. I tried out this look on our Instagram stories and loved everyone’s input so much that I had to do a full post!

How to Style A Vest For Fall

When I talk about how to stye a vest for fall, I actually have several different types of vests. For the past few years, we’ve all been loving military vests and puffy winter like vests in our feeds. And while those are still great, they have been SO done. Today I’m sharing this fringe plaid vest from Tribal, which has a vibrant fresh take on the look.

There are so many things I love about this vest. From it’s bright big red plaid to the fun fringe, it truly feels like no detail was overlooked. But most importantly, I love the length. I get so excited finding new ways to wear my faux leather leggings and the length and silhouette of this vest just allow them to seamlessly pair well  together.

Styling Tip: When styling an oversized vest, you don’t want to get swallowed up by the silhouette. Make sure to pair it with something more form fitting underneath. From skinny jeans to leggings, a fitted bottom will look great.

Tribal perfectly paired this vest with a thin ribbed cream turtleneck. It’s the prefect layering piece and it they fit so nicely together. A great pair of heeled booties and a tote make this look work for everything. I’ve been getting bored with a lot of my closet lately (hmmm is fashion boredom a thing?) and this look really freshens it up! Working in a creative field means that I get to come into meetings looking fun. No one wants the creative video production person to look stuffy, right? Well friends, this vest screams fun!
