Hooray! It’s finally warming up a bit. And by warm I mean it was 45 and sunny. Just enough to melt the snow I never shoveled! Small victories, ha. To celebrate I ventured as far as the mailbox without my snow boots and parka on. I live on the edge like that. I snapped these outfit pics in this black and grey color block sweater before heading out to a coffee meeting.
Black and Grey Color Block Sweater
I recently picked this cowl neck sweater up from JCPenny for $27. That’s right it was on sale for only $27. I tend to gravitate towards all things both black and color block so for me this was a no brainer. I love the transition of black to dark grey and light grey. The neckline is also a nice detail and very easy to arrange. It is a thiner sweater so it would be best for mild temperatures rather than the frozen tundra I’ve experienced lately. But it would work as well for Kristin’s winter in Florida as for me here in Maryland.
I paired it really easily with my black jeans and black booties. I had wanted to wear my high heeled boots but with so much ice on the sidewalks these low chunky heels are a safer bet. No one needs a broken bone from slipping on ice and I’m not exactly known as the most coordinated. Of course my grey Ray Bans help protect my eyes from all that glorious sun!
Here is some similar outfit inspiration and if you like this particular black and grey color block sweater you can find it here. But hurry, I think there are only a few left.
