Can you believe that Thanksgiving is nearly here?! I’ve spent so much time focusing on my holiday decorating ideas, that I realized I needed to put together some Thanksgiving thoughts too! Now last week I shared the mini fall wine bar that I styled with some of my Hearth & Hand with Magnolia scores and this week I thought I would give you a peek at an easy fall centerpiece that I put together. It took me next to no time and would be perfect for your Thanksgiving table! In fact, I do believe I’ll be packing up the Hearth & Hand wood nesting houses that I used in this easy fall centerpiece and bringing them with us to the mountains. That’s right! We’re road trippin’ it to our favorite spot in the Blue Ridge Mountains and this year Megan and her whole fam are joining us! We can’t wait to share our mountain adventures, so stay tuned for that coverage next week!
Easy Fall Centerpiece
In the meantime, let’s talk fall centerpieces. For this one, I combined a few printed placemats (which can serve as a runner when you’re in a pinch), along with the wood nesting boxes I mentioned, velvet pumpkins (I can’t get enough), a fun sign, tall grasses and a small vase filled with mums (my favorite fall flower). The key to any good centerpiece arrangement is to combine varying heights, sizes and textures! And that’s just what I did with this easy fall centerpiece!
I love the rustic feel the wood nesting boxes gave my table and I can’t wait to use them in my holiday decorating too! I’m envisioning them nestled amongst garland and lights on my mantle…but I digress.
