Everything But The House: Our Top Picks

EBTH Favorite Picks

Have you checked out Everything But the House (otherwise known as EBTH) yet? You might remember from a few months back, just how much both Kristin and I dig this site. As someone who is over scheduled as it is, but loves a good find, it’s the perfect way for me to have access to cool items without taking up my weekends searching for them. And while you can bid on anything and have it shipped to you, I was thrilled to find out that they just started conducting auctions in the greater DC area. That means if I’m unsure about something or just want to go in person, I can! You can shop sales in person the last two days before it ends online.

As a reminder from my first post, EBTH is an online estate and consignment sale company. Anyone can bid worldwide and items start at just $1! Each sale is open for seven days and the photos are high quality, objective and include measurements. No surprises here! So let’s get down to the good stuff! My current favorite available items. Squeal!

1. I’m totally dying over these Ring Handled Cocktail Clutches. One has a gold backing and the other a pearly silver. These would be perfect with jeans and heels for a girls night out or dressed up for a wedding.
2. This upholstered corner chair is so cute and right now the highest bid is only $9!!! Ummm what?! It looks to be in great shape, so you could just add a fun throw or why not reupholster it in some great bright fabric?
3. Outdoor furniture can be very expensive and it never occurred to me to look here for it. But there is a great selection and this Rattan Outdoor set is cute and fresh. A few fun pillows for color and me with a drink is all that’s needed. Oh and right now the highest bid is $50, so get on that!
4. I’m a huge Mad Men fan so I love retro barware. This zodiac set would really be a fun way to surprise guests and get the party started! Yes, it includes ashtrays (they are vintage people!) but I think they would be great for olives/nuts or rimming glasses with salt!
5. We’ve always wanted to get Jake one of these play tractors and this would be the perfect way!
6. I love this vintage tabletop pinball game. It could be used as decoration or what a fun game to have at a cabin or lake house!

Can you guess which one I bid on?! Here’s a hint. They are small and sparkly!

If you are in the DC area, or close to any other location where a sale is happening, why not check out the items in person? Live sale locations happen continually and include Cincinnati, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Columbus, Dallas, Denver, Indianapolis, Lexington, Los Angeles, Louisville,  Nashville, New York, Southwest Florida and now Washington, DC! Upcoming sales for the DC area start on 6/29 and 7/16 so mark your calendars and happy shopping!

Disclosure: We were compensated for this post, however, all opinions, thoughts and love for EBTH expressed is all our own.

  1. Such great choices. We’ve been spending so much time outdoors, so that patio set is calling to me. I could lounge on that the rest of summer.

  2. I’m gong to have to check this site out! It looks amazing and we’re in the process of buying a new home so it will help me with my decorating!
