If you’re been reading this site for as while, you know it’s become an annual tradition of mine to go to the Tampa Bay Fashion Week show. While I love attending shows in New York City, I think it’s amazing that we have such a vibrant local fashion scene and I love to show my support. This year, there were two designers that stood out for me…Elizabeth Carson Racker and Chavon Shree.
Color is always a draw for me and both designers featured bold colors that attracted me. There were also some amazing prints which made for killer statement pieces. Nothing draws me in like a fun print, which wouldn’t surprise you if could take a peek at my closet. Haha! Chavon Shree’s tiger print dress is welcome to join my other prints. Just sayin’.
There is also something to be said for the simplicity of a neutral and Elizabeth Carson Racker’s cap sleeve finale gown was stunning. It totally deserves a red carpet moment…Now I just need a red carpet event and a set of mile long legs to rock it!
Before I go, I just have to tell you about one of Instagram’s latest offerings that I’m loving…Hyperlapse is perfect for fashion shows because you can speed up your video. While you might not want to watch a several minute long fashion show video of mine, a few seconds is totally another story. Am I right? It’s so much fun when fashion and technology meet!
I’ve also had fun just filming little videos of my kids. It’s a great way to capture special moments in new and interesting ways!
