Red, White and Blue Fruit Parfait

This red, white and blue fruit parfait is a fun and festive way to kick off your weekend of Olympic watching!

Red, White and Blue Fruit Parfait

I am a huge fan of the Olympics. I just love watching and rooting for all of the young athletes who have sacrificed so much for their sport reach their dreams. They start today and while I love the summer Olympics, there is something so great about cozying up in winter to watch our favorite athletes hit the snow and ice! It’s so neat how my kids get really excited whenever I’m really excited about something. It’s such a sweet quality about young children. It makes it really fun to go a little over the top with holidays and special occasions like the Olympics. I won’t have this time with them forever so making it special is worth it. This red, white and blue fruit parfait is a healthy way we can start off cheering on our favorite team!

How cute and easy is that? And as you can see my little ones couldn’t keep their hands off of them! We are big breakfast eaters in our house but this one got a repeat request the next morning and I was happy to oblige. I’m all about a breakfast of champions!

In addition to breakfast, we plan on making fun paper Olympic torches and our own basement obstacle course. Nothing like getting creative to help keep us warm and entertained on a long cold winter weekend.
