Tasha’s Famous Pesto and Goat Cheese Dip


Happy almost New Year BonBon Rose Girls readers, it’s Jackie Fo again. I know everyone is everyone is probably beat from all that hustling and bustling to get those last minute holiday errands and whatnot done, so I’m here to show you a super simple appetizer that’s festive but most important, easy as can be! It’s perfect for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s day celebrations…You’ll be done making it in no time and will soon be able to sit back and put your feet up!

Let me give you a bit of background on this delicious dip. My friend Tasha brought it to a party once, and I was blown away when she told me how simple it was! Not only is it tasty, but it’s so pretty and colorful too. Here’s the skinny on how to make it:

Tasha’s Pesto and Goat Cheese Dip

1 log of softened goat cheese, like a Chevre, about 10.5 oz
1 jar of store bought pesto (you’ll need about 6 oz total)
A healthy sprinkling of dried cranberries (like Craisins)



Using a fairly shallow dish and a butter knife to smooth, spread the goat cheese into the bottom. Cover it with the jarred pesto and sprinkle with dried cranberries. Serve with crackers.



That’s it! It’s festive, easy and best of all, super delicious! This recipe can be modified any way you’d like, you can add nuts or even make it a layered dip by layering pesto between layers of goat cheese.
