How to Wear Olive Green for Fall

Shades of green have always been part of my go-to color palette….and olive green is definitely one of my favorites. For me, it almost works as a neutral. It can be paired with so many colors, but today I kept it simple for my Moms Do Fall Fashion look and paired my olive green with metallics and browns. I can’t wait to see what our fabulously stylish influencer partner for the day, The Simple Moms, came up with! But first…let’s talk about how to wear olive green for fall!

Moms Do Fall Fashion

Let’s start with the hero piece. I buy Lush tunics like this one in bulk at Nordstrom. Bwah! Ok, maybe not in bulk, but I do own several. They’re moderately priced, crazy comfortable and incredibly flattering…especially for girls with, ahem, ample assets. Haha! I decided to pair my olive green tunic top with a couople glittering metallic necklaces that I picked up at one of my favorite little shopping haunts, The Treehouse Boutique, boyfriend jeans and another must have for fall…Frye Cara Boots that I snagged from J. Jill. These boots are beyond perfection…Not only are they ridiculously comfortable, which is a must for this harried mama these days, but they go with EVERYTHING…just like olive green!

So, if you’re looking for some pieces to round out your own fall wardrobe, I highly suggest you head over to Nordstrom’s junior department and grab some of those Lush tunics. Go for the olive green it works for your coloring…You won’t believe how many ways you’ll be able to style it! And your next order of business should be to pick up those Cara boots from J. Jill! After those scores, your fall uniform will be set.
